This is a startup company producing a product and addressing a market that, to my knowledge, has not been addressed before. We intend to be fully operational before christmas this year. Capt. Squidd Mcguffy’s Beach Tar Remover.
If this is PC Pitstop’s attempt to garner my address for the purpose of filling my inbox with ads for marketing tools,SEO services, bank promotions etc., please count me out.
So what do we mean by a “virtual company”? My webmaster lives 35 miles away and works from home. We meet on a weekly basis to discuss development etc. My graphic artist lives 30 miles away. He answers to my Webmaster. I have my printing done in California. My bottle supplier is in Ohio. My chemical suppliers are in differrent parts of the country. I am in Florida where the product is produced, packaged and shipped. We sell online to individuals and to retailers. Paypal handles our merchant account. In addition to the product we provide entertainment in the form of an online graphic adventure series and the opportunity for those eco minded individuals to become part of the solution to the problem of global irresponsibility for producing and shipping crude oil around the world.
We do not have a physical storefront. Does that make us a virtual company? Or does the fact that we sell a physical product make us NOT a virtual company? Other than this singular “brick and morter” difference, I dont see the difference between this company and my physical service company. Enlighten me.
